Robert “R. L.” Lewis Sholtz, Jr., 64, of Winston-Salem, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025. He was born in Chattanooga, TN on July 16, 1960, to the late Robert Lewis Sholtz, Sr. and Reba Jane Payne Sholtz. R. L. worked as a machine operator and was retired from Hayward Industries. He was a true Tennessee Volunteers fan that bled orange. R. L. was a loving husband and brother that will be missed greatly. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Steve Sholtz, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, A. G. and Louise Kiger. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Sholtz, and brother, Roger Sholtz (Jonquil).
