
Douglas Tate Sink

Douglas Tate Sink, 88, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the Hinkle Hospice House.
Douglas was born on September 11, 1936, in Davidson County, North Carolina, to the late Robert Wade Sink Sr. and Ola Lula Tate Sink.
Mr. Sink graduated from Appalachian State University. He was a member of First Reformed United Church of Christ, where he served as Elder Emeritus. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #473, where he was past Master and past Secretary.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Evelyn Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Clodfelter Sink; daughter, Cindy Kepley (Kent); brother, Robert “Bob” Wade Sink Jr; three grandchildren, Nathaniel Kepley, Justin Kepley (Brianne), Emily Moss; and seven great grandchildren, Jonathan, Alexander, Ryah, Luca, Addison, Annabelle and Ava.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 2:00pm at First Reformed United Church of Christ. Family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Reformed United Church of Christ Saturday, Lunch Ministry, 104 E. Center St, Lexington, North Carolina 27292 or to Hospice of Davidson County, 202 Hospice Way, Lexington, North Carolina 27292.

Doug was a loving, caring man who touched the lives of many people. He will truly be missed.
