Sandra Kay Winebarger Tussey

Sandra Kay Winebarger Tussey, 71, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center.

Sandra was born on October 4, 1953, in Davidson County, North Carolina, to the late Eben Haig Winebarger “Bill” and Willia Veigh Hedrick Winebarger.

She was a member of Hedrick’s Grove Reformed United Church of Christ. She loved planting her flowers and spending time with all of her family.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Tussey; two sons, Travis Tussey, Chris Tussey; brother, Ronnie Winebarger; sister, Linda Kepley; seven grandchildren, Cheyenne (Cody), Brooklyn, Gracie, Cody, Madison, Bailey, Ashlyn; three great-grandchildren, Levi, Willa, Josie; a nephew, Reggie Winebarger; and three nieces, Karri Winebarger, Tracey Leonard, and Mindy Kepley.

The family will have a visitation at Greater Vision Freewill Baptist Church, on Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm, followed by a Celebration of Life Memorial service at 6:00pm, with Pastor Keith McGee, officiating.
