RA was such a kind, gentle soul. He was a wonderful step father to me for the last 19 years sharing his love for God, fishing and building things. He was with me when I lost my husband Ken last year and was such a blessing to all that knew him. Most of all, he loved my mother with an agape love and for that I am eternally grateful. I know that I’ll see him again when I reach heaven.

RA loved the Lord and worked hard when we were building Central Baptist Church. Donna, our first child, stayed with Andy for years when they were growing up. They were best friends growing up. I worked with RA at Burlington Furniture. He was a wonderful man. He was so kind to everyone he met. He will be truly missed by all. I know Heaven gained another angel. Rose and the family will be in our prayers.

I’m so sorry for the loss of RA on this earth, but I know he is with his Heavenly Father now. RA was such a kind and beautiful soul and made this world a better place to be. His smile and friendliness radiated to those around him. My parents loved him and talked about him often; I know he was a good friend and brother-in-law to them; they have shared so many memories with me these past few days; they are already terribly missing their friend. My kids, husband, and I loved him and enjoyed seeing him and Rose when we come to town; I know he was fond of my bunch as well. He had such a kind heart. He and Rose were a pair—always together and often trying to bring a little joy to the lives of those in need of some. He will be missed greatly. May precious memories comfort Rose and his family in the days to come. I know RA is watching from above with that wonderful smile of his! Prayers and courage to all that are mourning his loss. We love you Aunt Rose and our prayers and thoughts are with you and the rest RA’s family.

To RA, family meant everything, and he gave his family is entire heart….such a humble, kind-hearted, generous and loving soul, he always made everyone feel welcome. He had a calmness that made everything feel a little lighter, a little more grounded, and he was constantly helping, listening, and encouraging others in ways that really mattered. One of RA’s most remarkable qualities was his humility, having no desire for praise or recognition. What gave him joy was seeing others thrive—basically just helping out wherever and whenever he could, fixing what was broken, and offering a steady presence in times of stress. If you needed him, he was there—no fuss, no drama, just quietly showing up time and time again… he simply gave from the heart. To know him was to love him…he will surely be missed.
