Clyde Frank "Buck" Haire

Clyde Frank Haire “Buck”, 83 of Cleveland, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Iredell Memorial Hospital, leaving a legacy of cherished memories.
He was born July 14, 1942 in Rowan County, North Carolina to the late Albert Wiley Haire and Zeda Hodge Haire Gunter.
Buck was a hard worker who spent his working years in the furniture industry and as a truck driver. Buck lived a life filled with purpose and his passion for story telling and conversation inspired countless hours of laughter and connection of those around him.
In addition to his parents, Buck was preceded in death by a brother, Wade Haire; a sister, Myrtle Vick, and a daughter, Dina Haire.
He is survived by one sister, Loretta Bolick of Florida; granddaughter, Kala Reeves; great granddaughter, Kira Sullivan both of Cleveland, North Carolina. He is also survived by special friends, Jack and Teresa Eller of Woodleaf, North Carolina, both of whom provided companionship, care, and comfort throughout his declining health.
A special thank you to the healthcare staff at Iredell Memorial Hospital who provided remarkable care to Buck.
The family will have a funeral service on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 2:00pm at Rowan Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Don Hegler, officiating. Burial will take place following the service.
