I am so sorry to hear of Charles’ passing. He was my cousin and his son Brett and I share a birthday. I always thought that was special.
I have very found memories of us being little and staying at Uncle Bill’s and Aunt Doris’ lake house with all the cousins. They were the best family and we had the most fun. He had a beautiful smile and laugh and was so sweet.
I will miss him.
Sending condolences to the whole family. We all grew up together in the same neighborhood and Charles was always so nice to everyone. My grandmother adored him. Sending my love to all of you

Charles and I were seating mates at auditorium alphabetical seatings. We were Duffey-Dunn. We were lunch mates with others when we could go out for lunch as Seniors. Charles was a love and great friend. Please go to rest. Love and strength to your family Lynn Dunn (Cole) McCullers

Charles was my classmate at Lexington Senior High School and UNC-Chapel Hill.
I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I remember the good times as freshmen at UNC trying to figure our way around campus and the town.
I know he will be missed.
Sending condolences to his family.
I met “Duffey” at our church in Southmont. He served at The Upper Room Food Pantry and was our church’s contact person for the pantry for many years. I got to know him better as we served there together after I volunteered. Jilda was his reason for living, his constant companion, his love. They were both more than gracious with their home, their time, and their care of family and friends. I miss them.
Duffey, you will be missed, my friend. I am thankful to have met you and Jilda, all the laughs and times had together. Both of you were so welcoming and loved meeting new friends and family. I love you both. Rest easy.
RIP Charles, we use to ride our HD Fatboy’s around many moons ago!! Fly high my brother.
