Dallas Reid Redwine
6/3/1958 - 6/11/2025
Dallas Reid Redwine, 67, of Thomasville, North Carolina passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.
Dallas was born on June 3, 1958 in Crossville, TN, to late William Reid Redwine and Ninnie Pearl Webb Redwine.
He moved to Thomasville at a young age and met the love of his life Joyce, and married at 16 years old, they enjoyed 50 years together. They created two amazing daughters, from those daughters he had seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Words couldn’t nearly explain the love, dedication and devotion as the rock and the glue of the family. From long rides to Shately Springs, to eat, to drives to the beach, or to cruises with his wife and daughter, Misty. He spared no laughs or funny faces. He was truly the light to brighten the day. When he did his hobbies he was never alone. He taught us how to work on cars, hunt, and playing tag with four-wheelers. It’s easy to say he was the man we always needed and he left a great impact on each of our lives. The best masterpiece he ever created here was us, his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Anna Marie Sanders, Mary Helen Cox, Wilma Jean Loden; and one grandson, Jeremy Dallas Redwine.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Annette Gallimore Redwine; two daughters, Misty Gallman (Randy), Kimberly Redwine; three brothers, Billy Carter (Diane); Tony Carter (Linda); Jerry Redwine (Vickie); two sisters, Linda Carver (Odell), Julie Simmons (Kenneth); six grandchildren, Jerry, Dallas, Alisha, Destiny, Haylie, Owen; and fourteen great grandchildren.
The family will have a Celebration of Life service on Monday, June 16, 2025 at 3:00pm at Overflow Church, 8115 Old Lexington Rd, Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27107. They will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
We at Affordable Funerals and Cremations of Davidson County, are honored to be serving the Redwine family.
