Homegoing Celebration for Linda Allen Russell of Lexington, NC 7/8/44-1/13/25.

Linda was called home to be with Jesus while being cared for at the Woltz (Mountain Valley) Hospice Home in Dobson, NC.

Preceding in her death is her husband James Austin Russell, parents John and Margaret Allen and sister Anne Davis.

Linda was born and raised in Tennessee then later as an adult moved to NC.

Linda leaves behind her daughter, Kimberly (Shannon) Brown of Lexington and Tucker, Sister, Kathy (Mike) Hergert of TN, daughter- in law Delores Russell, grandchildren, Devon (Amanda) Lyons, Salena Harris, David Russell, Douglas (Samantha) Russell, Heather Russell; great-grandkids, Camellia Lyons, Aaron “AJ” Kennedy, Calliope Austin, Holden Austin & Joseph Harris.

Linda has spent the last 4 yrs at Lexington Healthcare Center and has a host of close friends and medical staff.

The service is at 3:00pm on Saturday, Jan 17, 2026, at The Well Church of Thomasville, 906 Oaklawn Drive, Thomasville, NC 27360.  The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

The family would like to say a special thank you, to, Pastor Huey and The Well Church, Lexington Healthcare Center, Mountain Valley Hospice, and all those that made donations or showed care and sympathy during this difficult time to the family, we sincerely thank you!

    So sorry to see this. I worked with Linda for many years at Thomasville Hospital. Sweet, kind, gentle soul. I will always remember her. Prayers for all loved ones.

    Kim, you are in my prayers. I know how close you & your Mom were. Linda was such a sweet soul & she was kind to everyone. Linda was an amazing switchboard operator at Thomasville Hospital. Her voice was professional & warm as she represented the hospital well. May God bless you & your family with peace & comfort during this sad time.

    So sorry about Linda, I worked with her at the switchboard at Thomasville Medical, she was a sweet, very caring person and I loved working with her and being able to call her a good friend, will miss her greatly.
