Marc Normand Chasse
2/8/1971 - 6/26/2025
Marc Normand Chasse, 54, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away at home on June 26, 2025. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, Marc was a long-time resident of Connecticut before fulfilling his dream of moving to North Carolina in 2023.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kristen (Asel) Chasse; his daughters, Ciara Chasse (Xavian) and Brittany Heinrichs (Trevor); adoring grandsons, Theodore and Ezra Dionne; and a bonus granddaughter, Alaina Roy. Marc also leaves behind his father, Joseph “Norm” Chasse; brothers, Wayne Chasse (Carol) and Daniel Chasse (Jean); nieces, Amanda, Kaitlyn, and Brianna; nephews, Brandon and Jordan — along with their spouses, children and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Patricia Chasse.
Marc graduated from Manchester High School, Class of 1990, and went on to study at Porter and Chester Institute in Wethersfield. He spent many years in the electrical trade before founding his own construction company, Chasse Construction LLC in Connecticut, which he continued to run after relocating to North Carolina.
Marc was a man of deep love, loyalty, and generosity. He gave selflessly to others without expectation and found great joy in spending time with his family and friends. His infectious laugh and kind heart touched everyone he met. He especially cherished “Thirsty Thursdays and Corn hole with the boys” as well as the numerous “Dinner Junkies” gatherings. To Marc, his friends were family—and he wouldn’t have had it any other way.
Marc was planning a move to a lakeside home where he could enjoy fun filled days on his boat and peaceful surroundings — a dream he was excited to fulfill.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. All who knew and loved Marc are welcome to attend. Details will be announced when available.
Marc will be remembered always for his kindness, warmth, and the deep love he had for those around him — especially his daughters and grandsons, whom he loved and adored “to the moon and back.” His presence brought comfort and joy, and his absence will be deeply felt in our daily lives.
Marc is forever in my heart. He was always making jokes. Marc married his perfect match. Together they were a real life comedy act. Thru the years together Kristen & Marc made life happen. Raising their beautiful daughters, enjoying times with family & friends. Thanksgiving is when Kristen made all her homemade pies. Their door is always open for the love to be shared. I miss you so. Please look after your family from above. Why you were taken will be a question never answered. May you rest in peace Marc.
