Virgil "Owen" Sevy

Virgil “Owen” Sevy, 86, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Piedmont Crossing in Thomasville, North Carolina.
Owen was born in Rainelle, West Virginia, on August 1, 1938, to the late Burton Alexander Sevy and Maggie Susan Tincher Sevy.
He was a truck driver for over 20 years and a member of Linville Forest Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, Virgil was preceded in death by two brothers, Estal Sevy, Kellum Sevy; and a sister, Alvena Simms.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Carrol Staley Sevy; two sons, Michael Sevy, Greg Sevy; two daughters, Melissa Donnell (Felton), Cinda Carson; three grandchildren, Emily Sevy, Alana Sevy, Laurel Sevy; and three great grandchildren, Scarlett, Isaiah, and Xavian.
The family will have a service on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 12:00pm noon, at Linville Forest Church of Christ.
