Annie Ruth McGee Pritchett 76 of Lexington NC passed away peacefully at home on August 30, 2026. Annie was born on November 23, 1949 to the late Richard Talmadge McGee and Rachel Devone Eldridge.

Annie was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Thomas Collins Pritchett. One son, Dennis Ray Pritchett, one daughter Tammy Lynn Hazzard, one great grandson, Fisher Irby. Four brothers Lloyd, Billy, Kenneth, and Larry McGee.

Annie is survived by one daughter, Becky Irby, and husband David of Denton, NC. One son Marty Pritchett of Lexington, NC. Son in-law Michael Hazzard of Thomasville, NC. One daughter in-law Sherry Pritchett of Lexington, NC, with whom she made her home. One sister Carolyn Flowers and husband Kenneth of High Point Nc. Twelve grandchildren Joshua and Caleb Irby, Dustin Rosenbaum, Spencer, Tanner and Tyler Pritchett, Cody and Justin Lanning, Brianna Hazzard, Candace and Christopher Motts and Dakota Joyce. Seven great- grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service will be held at True Worship Church, 15 East Salisbury Street, Denton, NC 27239 o. September 5, 2026 at 3:00 p.m.
