Obituary For Brian Charles Dorsett

Brian Charles Dorsett, 62, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away on May 5, 2025, at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.

Brian was born on January 11, 1963, in Davidson County, North Carolina, to the late Robert Lee Dorsett and Mary Belle Owens.

He was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness and was employed with PPG Industries for 32 years.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Karen Hartzog Dorsett; two daughters, Christy Hedrick (Andrew), Kimberly Stone (Joshua); four grandchildren, Madison Haynes, Cameron Hedrick, Danielle Stone, Rylee Stone; and two brothers, Keith Dorsett (Cherri) and Tim Dorsett.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

SYBIL A HAMILTON Dear Karen & Family, I am so sorry for the passing of Brian, please know that you are in my thoughts & prayers, along with many others in the East Lexington Congregation. We have the beautiful promise from Jehovah that he has given Jesus Christ the authority to raise those who has fallen asleep in death (John 5:28) & (Revelation 21:1-5) please know that I am thinking of you during this very difficult time.
