Obituary For Burnett Lockhart Jr.

Burnett Lockhart Jr., 77, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist High Point Medical Center.

Burnett was born on May 6, 1948, in Isaban, West Virginia, to the late Burnett Lockhart Sr. and Jessie Myrtle Cline Lockhart.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three children, Charlie Lockhart, Anthony Lockhart, Tina Lockhart; three brothers, Randy Lockhart, Clinton Lockhart, Tony Lockhart, and three grandchildren, Chris Lockhart, Corey Lockhart, and Kimberly Lockhart.

Survivors include his two brothers, Billy Ray Lockhart (Patricia), Richard Lockhart; one sister, Virginia Brown; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Following Burnett’s request there are no funeral services scheduled at this time.
