Obituary For Charles David Evans

Charles David Evans, 77, of Mocksville, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025, peacefully at his home surrounded by his family and friends.

Charles was born on April 12, 1948, in Medora, Indiana.

He was known as a good man and a friend by all. He was a fisherman and pipe fitter supervisor for many years. He enjoyed hanging out with all of his lifelong friends at Perry’s Tavern in Medora, Indiana along with all of his newer friends at Lake Myers Campground.

He was preceded in death by his mother and his wife, Katherine Evans.

Survivors include his spouse, Cynthia Evans Cassels; a son, Curtis D Evans (Kendra); two daughters, Charlene Wilmoth (Jonathan), Dawn Marie Evans; four grandchildren, Harper, Jackson, Colten, and Magdelana “Maggie”; and a dear friend, Muzetta Daulton.

The family will have a Celebration of Life at 6:00pm on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Lake Myers Campground.
