Obituary For David Ray Parsons

David Ray Parsons, 86, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at his home.

David was born on November 24, 1938, in Davidson County, North Carolina to the late Clyde Ray Parsons and Frances Everhart Parsons.

He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, who loved to travel and lived life to the fullest. He served his country in the United States Navy, as a Surgical Technician. He retired from the United States Embassy as a mail clerk.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Parsons.

Survivors include his wife of more than 50 years, Pensri Parsons; step-mother, Hoi Parsons; son, Joseph Parsons; three daughters, Frances Parsons, Tina Coltrane (Jeff), Myrna Parsons; and one grandchild, Nathan Stewart.

There will be a private service at a later date.
