Obituary For David Scott Barnhardt

David Scott Barnhardt, 67, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

David was born on February 15, 1959, in Rowan County, North Carolina, to Harold Dean Barnhardt and Mary Jane Williams Barnhardt.

He was a member of Churchland Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Dean Barnhardt; a sister, Donna Jane Windsor; an uncle, Jesse Lee William; and one cousin, Terry Williams.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Jane Barnhardt; aunt, Elaine Fisher Williams; cousin, Neil Williams (Beth); and niece, Amanda Jane Kiley.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date at the residence.
