Obituary For Delores Boone Johnson

Delores B Johnson, 75, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026, at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington, North Carolina.

Delores was born on August 12, 1950, in Rowan County, North Carolina, to the late William Baxter Boone and Edith Mae Eller Boone.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Junior Johnson Sr.; a daughter, Tammy Bouldin; and one granddaughter, Caroline Michelle Petty.

Survivors include her daughter, Christina White; brother, Billy Wayne Boone; six grandchildren, Shannon, Scottie, Kimberly, Lela, Ashley, and Izzy; three step-grandchildren, Buggy, Michael,and Angel; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 10:00am to 11:00am at Affordable Funerals and Cremations Chapel.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00pm at Brookhill Memorial Gardens, in Rockwell, North Carolina, following the visitation. Everyone will just meet at the cemetery.
