Obituary For Ernest “Judge” Lee Stoffel Jr.

Ernest “Judge” Lee Stoffel Jr, 72, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington, North Carolina.

Judge was born on January 18, 1953, in Robeson, North Carolina to the late Ernest Lee Stoffel Sr. and Betty Carlyle Williams Stoffel.

He graduated from UNC Chapel Hill. He was a former salesman for Hartford Insurance Company and owned/operated Stoffel Saddlery.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Stoffel; and a sister, Bea Williams.

Left to cherish his memory is a sister, Bonnie Stoffel, and cousins Garrett, Connor and Eric Hogan.

A memorial service will be held at a later.
