**In Loving Memory of Felicia Dale Baird**

Felicia Dale Baird peacefully passed away on May 24, 2021, surrounded by the love and comfort of those who meant the most to her.

Born on January 7, 1962, in Lexington, North Carolina, Dale was the cherished youngest daughter of Clinton Clifford Baird and Janette Louise Weaver Baird and little sister to Patrica Kim. She was raised with a deep appreciation for faith, family, and kindness—values she carried throughout her life and lovingly instilled in her own children and grandchildren.

Throughout her life, Dale embraced many roles—daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, partner, and friend—but none brought her greater joy than being a mother and grandmother. Her family was the center of her world, and she devoted her life to encouraging, supporting, and loving them unconditionally.

Dale found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She loved spending time in the mountains of North Carolina, being surrounded by horses, listening to bluegrass, country and gospel music, and attending bluegrass festivals. She had a special gift for preserving life’s precious moments through photography and video, creating treasured memories that her family will cherish for generations. She also enjoyed making buttons, sharing stories, and keeping family history alive. Her warmth, resilience, and unwavering love left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She believed that butterflies were gentle reminders that those we love are never truly gone, and she taught her family the importance of perseverance, compassion, and cherishing every moment together. Dale’s greatest legacy is the love she poured into her family and the countless memories they will forever hold close to their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Bowman; her father, Clinton Clifford Baird; her son, Thomas Earlie Glenn; her niece, Sara Elizabeth Conner; and her granddaughter, Shiann Nicole Creech. Her mother, Janette Louise Baird passed peacefully on July 20, 2026.

She is lovingly survived by her children and grandchildren:

* Billy Jackson Glenn (BJ) and wife, Tracy, along with their children, Cheyenne Tussey, Brooklyn Tussey, Ashlyn Glenn, and JJ Glenn.

* Elizabeth Louise Wall and husband, Jonathan, along with their children, JT Wall (Megan Carter) and Marissa Wall.

* Clinton Michael Glenn and wife, Alisha, along with their children, Ansalynn Kelly, Ansleigh Kelly, and Christian Kelly.

* Lisa Dawn Dorsett, along with her children, Liam Weiler, Ellie Aldridge, and Luke Aldridge.

She is also lovingly remembered by her sister, Patricia Kim Baird; her nephew, Aaron Conner and wife, Sydney; her devoted partner, Kenneth Kindley; as well as numerous cousins, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were blessed by her love and friendship.

Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, Dale’s love, laughter, and gentle spirit will continue to live on through her family, grandchildren, and all who knew her. Her loved ones find comfort in knowing she has been reunited with those she loved and longed to see again, embracing them with the same love that defined her life.

A Celebration of Life honoring Dale will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Forest Hill Memorial Park, 1307 Old Highway 64, Lexington, North Carolina 27295.

The family warmly invites all who knew and loved Dale to join them as they celebrate a life filled with unwavering love, enduring strength, and beautiful memories that will forever remain in their hearts.
