Obituary For Garry Allen Holloman

Garry Allen Holloman, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on October 7, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and a family who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

Garry was a man with a hippie soul, a free spirit, and a love for the simple things in life. He found happiness in the great outdoors, whether he was fishing, camping, or grilling out with the people he loved. He understood that some of life’s greatest blessings weren’t found in material things, but in the moments spent together, the laughter shared, and the memories made along the way.

Above all else, Garry loved his family. They were his heart, his greatest joy, and the most important part of his life. He treasured the time spent with those he loved and created memories that will be carried in their hearts for years to come. He also held a special place in his heart for his beloved Sally girl, who brought him companionship, comfort, and unconditional love.

Garry was preceded in death by his daughter, Anna Rudisill; his mother, Ruth; and his sister, Nancy.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Alice “Darlene” Holloman; his children, Allen Holloman (Tara), Stephanie Smith, and Melissa Green (Chris); and his beloved grandchildren, Gabby, Caroline (Zack), Dalton, Cavin Rudisill and Gage Rudisill; his sister, Gail Hedrick (Todd); numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces; brother-in-laws, Mike Tessenar and Danny Mitchem; sister-in-law, Donna Mitchem. He will also be remembered by extended family members and friends whose lives were touched by his presence.

Though Garry’s time here has come to an end, the love he gave, the lessons he shared, and the memories he created will live on through the people who knew him best. His spirit will forever be found in a quiet fishing spot, around a campfire beneath the stars, beside a grill surrounded by family, and in the little moments that bring a smile when someone remembers him.

Garry lived life with a free spirit and a heart that knew what truly mattered. His absence will leave a space that can never be filled, but the love he shared will never fade. Those who loved him can find comfort in the stories they tell, the laughter they remember, and the pieces of him they carry with them every day.

Rest easy, Garry. May the waters always be calm, the campfires always burn bright, and the road ahead be wide open. Your hippie soul will live on forever in the hearts of those who love you. You will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and never forgotten.
