Obituary For Janette Louise Weaver Baird

Janette Louise Weaver Baird (Grandma) gently and peacefully passed on July 20, 2026.
Born November 22 1937 in the middle of a farm family lead by Earlie and Margret Weaver she grew up with two brothers and four sisters in Davidson County. She married the love of her life Clinton Clifford Baird ( November 22, 1932 - January 7, 1996) and raised two daughters; Patricia Kim Baird ( March 7, 1960) and Felicia Dale Baird ( January 7, 1962 - May 24, 2021).
Janette was a fierce soul with a gentle attitude. She loved growing flowers and plants of any kind, music that made her dance and singing to the radio in the car. Sewing and quilting were lifelong passions as well as any unique craft ideas she came across. Making and eating brandy balls every Christmas was one of her special traditions. She loved her family first above everything, especially those Grandkids! Oooh how she loved them!
She mourned those that left before their time:
Grand daughter Sara Elizabeth Conner ( January 22, 1988-March 29, 2000)
Grandson Thomas Earlie Glenn (April 4, 1984- June 29, 2000)
Great Granddaughter Shiann Nicole Creech (February 2, 2009-August 1 2016)

And celebrated with those still enjoying life:

During Janettes working life she worked on the family farm, at Dixie Furniture and Mallory Battery in Lexington and various care giver positions. Alongside her husband Clinton as serial entrepreneurs in health care, retail ventures and real-estate development.
Janette leaves behind a legacy of quiet resilience, a fierce love for the adventures life offers and a gentle appreciation for sunsets and toasty fireplaces during snowstorms.

She has now joined three of her sisters,
Thelma Kindley, Loraine Shirley, Ola Mae Bean and one brother, Roy Weaver and a niece, Pamela Bean.

She is also survived by her brother Leo Weaver and sister Dorothy Sell and numerous treasured nieces and nephews and their families.
