Obituary For Joseph Wayne Miller

Joseph Wayne Miller, 65, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at his home.

Joseph was born on July 23, 1960, in Forsyth County, North Carolina.

He was a member of Hopewell Moravian Church. He retired from Time Warner Cable as a construction coordinator after 31 years of service. He loved his daughter Carrie beyond reason. She was his pride and joy and never missed an opportunity to tell you how proud he was of his “miracle” child. He taught Heather, his “bonus daughter”, to work on cars. He was a very kindhearted person who never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off of his back. He enjoyed driving a bus for Forsyth County and loved “his kids.” He loved riding Harleys, going to his favorite vacation spot, Oak Island and hanging out with his friends at High Rock Lake.

In addition to his mother, Mary Miller, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kelly Miller.

Survivors include his father, Louis Joseph Miller; daughters, Carrie Miller, Heather Perry; sister Debbie Carol Miller; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members and friends.

The family will have a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at Judy’s Place.

We at Affordable Funerals and Cremations of Davidson County, are honored to be serving the Miller family.
