Obituary For Julie Shannon Finney

Julie Shannon Finney, 57, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist High Point Medical Center.

Shannon was born on April 5, 1969, to the late William Carl Finney and Shirley Nelson Greene Finney.

She was born and raised here in Davidson County and graduated from West Davidson High School in 1987.

Survivors include her daughter, Louisa Chambers; granddogs, Molly, Cupcake, and Koda; a special caregiver and friend, Angie Woody; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 11:00am, at Currytown Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations or memorials be made to Currytown Baptist Church, 7740 N NC Hwy 150, Lexington, North Carolina 27295.
