Obituary For Madelyn René Edge

Madelyn René Edge passed away unexpectedly on November 25, 2025 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She passed away at Brenner Children’ s Hospital from smoke inhalation. Maddy, as her friends and family called her, was a happy, energetic, and loving child. She enjoyed singing, dancing, and playing with her friends.

Maddy was born to Megan Rene Clark and Ryan Kibler Edge on January 9, 2022.

She is survived by her loving father, Ryan Edge, her adoring grammy, Tami Mendoza Clark, her devoted pawpaw, James Neal Clark, and her Aunties Kaly Wall (Blane) and Catelyn Clark (née Noah). She is also survived by numerous aunties, uncles, and cousins who, while not all related by blood, were very much family to her.

    Duffy Goff I never got a chance to meet this sweet angel 😇 but I do know she was the light of love shining for so many people. Her picture is part of my family wall . This breaks my heart. Rest easy in the arms of Jesus.

    Ashley Crawford I wish I had gotten the chance to meet this sweet little flower, but I know she was deeply loved. My youngest and her share a birthday and I know they would have been good friends. Make sure to keep your mommy and aunty close until we can all meet.
