Mona, "Grace" as most knew her was born in Davidson County, North Carolina March 21, 1960, to Mary Ella Stone and George Dee Stone.

Grace was a very hard worker in her adult years and her greatest work talent was years of being an amazing waitress at Road Ranger Truck Stop in Lexington and many years as a cook at Bill's Truck Stop. Everyone who knew her and worked with her always complimented her talents and abilities.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Stone; her father George Stone; her sisters, Libby, Betty, and Judy; her brother, Johnny; and by the love of her life, Harry Nulph Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Samantha Stone (Steve) of Lexington, Kelly Fancera (Crystal) of Lexington; three grandchildren, Summer Stone, Lilee Fancera, and Isaac Fancera; three brothers, Tommy West (Angie) of Lexington, Jerry Stone (Brenda) of Virginia, and Wayne Stone (Rita) of Randleman; and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved and spoiled.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at Affordable Funerals and Cremations Chapel from 2:00pm to 3:30pm.
