  Kaycee Runyon Over my 17 years of life on this earth, I've never met anyone as kind, caring, or loving as my Mawmaw. My whole life I've looked up to her, from the way she raised 4 amazing kids to how she loved, cooked and cleaned for her husband for over 63 years. Not because that was her job as a mom and wife, but because she loved it. In the last 2 years of myself and my Pammaw taking care of her I grew very close to her and learned so much about her and what an amazing woman she was. As much as I will miss her I do believe she is with my Pawpaw, Dad, uncle B, her own parents and multiple siblings enjoying everyday. She was the best soul there is. She was an angel on earth her whole life and now she's one in heaven. I love you Mawmaw, I was honored to be one of the people taking care of you.

  Christie Huron My MawMaw was the most perfect soul; an incredible wife, mother, neighbor, friend, confidant and everything in between. If angels exist on earth; she was one of them. I'm so thankful that the Lord chose her for us; a role model and someone who infinitely loved her family. She is in every important memory that I have. I love you with my entire heart. Your unwavering support my whole life from my wedding, the birth of all of my children and everything in between is cemented forever. I remember we always came to your house and had at a spoonful of honey and you always had nutty butty bars in your second drawer on the right and you loved lemon ice cream like I did and your favorite color was yellow and your hair was always perfectly curled and the badminton games and the scrabble and the planting and picking of your garden and the checkers and and you recording our favorite shows from your satellite TV, our singing love is alive together while pawpaw played the guitar, your birthday bear singing to us every birthday and your LAUGH. It was perfect. I miss you already, but I'm so so thankful for all the years that I had. I know you are in heaven and I know I will see you again one day.

  Alberto Huron It is with the heaviest heart that I share this memory of our beloved, Maw-Maw. She was truly a wonderful grandmother, a constant source of love, warmth, and joy in our life. Maw-Maw had a special way of making every moment feel cherished. I'll forever miss her infectious laugh and her comforting hugs. But most of all, I'm going to deeply miss our annual birthday tradition. Every year, without fail, I could count on a phone call from her, filled with her sweet voice singing "Happy Birthday" to me. It meant the world to me and I'll carry that memory of those calls in my heart always. Her love was a guiding light, and her memory will continue to be a blessing. Maw-Maw may be gone, but the love she poured into our lives will live on forever.

  Christian Huron There are no amount of words that can describe what an amazing, loving, thoughtful, and kind hearted person my MawMaw was. Every birthday of mine she always made sure to call. Whenever I went to visit, she always had a smile on her face, filled with joy. Never was there a dull moment, as every moment spent with her was filled with laughter and memories that were being made. I'm so glad to have had you in my life, as I strive to treat others the way you always did, with respect, compassion, honesty, and love. I will miss you MawMaw, I love you.

  Hayley Huron MawMaw was endlessly kind and loved every single one of us with her whole heart. Whenever we would all gather in her living room, grandchildren and great grandchildren scattered across the two couches and all over the floor, we would always try to be the one to sit next to MawMaw; if you weren't lucky enough to snag the seat next to her first, there would be a running list of who got to sit beside her next. It was always the greatest privilege to be able to snuggle up to her and listen to her talk, to see her smile, to listen to her laugh. Every year, for every birthday, no matter the age, we would all wait by the phone for MawMaw to call with her annual birthday song. Before any hellos, MawMaw would play a little stuffed bear she had that would sing you happy birthday, and once the song was finished, she would hop on the phone next and remind you how much she loved you and how much she missed you. It was the highlight of every birthday, listening to her sweet voice ask about your day. During the summer when I was growing up, we would take trips to MawMaw and PawPaw's house and spend the week in her little brick house; it was always stuffed to the brim with photos and memories, different moments frozen in time that we could ask about or reminisce over. I can remember one summer when we were playing in the backyard with MawMaw, always cautious to avoid the drop off in her backyard; we were playing baseball together, us great grandchildren and MawMaw, and all we had was a broom and the crab apples scattered across the ground from her crabapple tree. MawMaw would throw a crabapple to us, we would try and whack it to see who could hit it the furthest. We swung again, all of us laughing and hollering, and I still remember the thunk of the crabapple when it whacked into MaMaw's big satellite. We were so worried that we had messed up the TV inside for PawPaw!! But sweet MawMaw, she didn't miss a beat. She laughed, and she went and fetched another crabapple, and she started right back up as if nothing had happened. MawMaw was nothing short of an angelic woman, with a heart full of love that she openly gave to everyone around her. It is the privilege of a lifetime to have so many wonderful memories, to have these pieces of joy and love that I'll carry with me for the rest of my life. I love you so, so much MawMaw, I'll miss you every day. 💜

  Stacee Goodell My MawMaw was truly the most wonderful person I have ever met. She had the biggest heart and loved so fiercely. Every childhood memory that I have, will forever be cherished. I loved playing badminton with her, catching lightning bugs in jars, looking for 4 leaf clovers and ALWAYS losing to her in checkers. I am so glad my children got to know her and see just how special her love was. I look at my own Mom and see that it is no wonder she is so good, she learned from the best! No words could ever express the hole this will leave in all of our hearts, but I am so grateful of all the memories I will carry forever with me.

  Matt Pray Jr When I was around ten years old I wrote my Mawmaw a poem. It wasn't very good in my opinion, but Mawmaw loved it so much. She put it in a picture frame and hung it on the wall, she showed it off to people bragging about the poem that Little Matt wrote for her. I wasn't a very well behaved kid, but Mawmaw ALWAYS saw the good in me. It didn't matter if I got in school suspension, or if I was misbehaving with my parents, she could always find something positive to say about me. I looked up to her so much for that and she made feel like a loved grandson. I'll always love and remember you. Love Matt Pray Jr and Family

  Diana Goins ( Scheinberg) Mom i keep waiting for the hole in my heart to subside some so I can write a fitting tribute for you-but I guess I will just have to learn to live with it-because the pain-it is only getting greater. You are the mom every child should have because then the world would be a much kinder place. You took motherhood into your heart and worked hard everyday as a homemaker who lived for her family. your loving thoughtful ways shined through in everyday little things that really weren't everyday or little at all . Three nourishing and delicious square meals per day, a clean welcoming home to come home to each and every day. The shiniest wood floors anyone has ever seen! (doing the twist on a polishing cloth!) -you even made housework fun! we all adored our lovely, loving mom so very much. With four kids you made time for each and every one of us to have that special mother/child connection that only an Expert Mom full of love could achieve. You would take breaks throughout your busy day to be sure you had FUN with your kids. board games. playing games in the yard or just sitting down to watch a show with us. the list is endless! The loving relationship between you and dad was an example for your kids of what true love and marriage could be. All of life's important lessons taught through the gentle loving ways of an Expert Mom who cherished her family. the connection you kept with all of your kids only grew stronger into the adult years and will last a lifetime. Your beauty radiates from the inside out. i often think how yellow being your favorite color was so fitting as it represents your shining sunny personality. You -so beautiful on the outside but even more so from within. you did it mom. you were literally the perfect mom! The sweetest lady on earth has gone to Heaven and I will miss you forever and always. i know you are with Dad so that will comfort us all. i know Bobby and Brandon have their MaMaw with them now and that makes me smile. All of your relatives especially your Mom and Dad will welcome you into Heaven and you will never hurt again. i know all of that but still i also know that the hole in my heart will never go away. i love you mom. love Diana

  Alexa Cripps Mawmaw had the kindest heart and always made me feel special. She loved playing games with the grandkids. One of my fondest memories is playing checkers with her. She will be missed so very much.

  Jenna Goins Mawmaw had the warmest heart and the kindest spirit—being around her always felt like home. I'll always remember the little things that made her so special, like making the Mrs. Butterworth syrup bottle talk just to make us laugh, or how she could get lost for hours a word search. Her love and laughter will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
