Obituary For Peggy Jo Taylor

Peggy Jo Moser Taylor, 78, of Thomasville, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Peggy was born in Surry County, North Carolina, on September 23, 1946, to the late William Ralph and Connie Draughn Moser.

Peggy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed taking care of her family for many years and was of the Holiness faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Randy Scott Taylor; and all of her siblings.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years and one month, Thurman “Scott” Taylor; five children, Elizabeth Taylor (Marlon), Kevin Taylor, Christa McPhatter (Lee), Lynn Taylor (Jared), Jeannie Zarate (Desi); sixteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; numerous other family members and friends.

There will be a graveside service on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 12:00pm, at Old Taylor Cemetery in Lansing, North Carolina.

Flowers may be sent to the funeral home.
