Obituary For Phyllis Brady Stein

It’s with deep sadness that everyone knows that we lost a wife, grandmother, and mother in law,
Phyllis Brady Stein, 86, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away after a lengthy illness, on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center.

Phyllis was born on March 27, 1939, in Johnston County, North Carolina, to the late Albert McClellan Brady and Edna Earl Coats Brady.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two children, Tony Pace and Cristy Roberts, who she missed so much and is now reunited with them, as well as, a brother, Don Brady.

Survivors included her husband, David Stein; stepson, Ben Stein; brother, John Brady (Jackie); daughter in law, Ellen Pace; grandchildren, Chris Roberts, Ronnie Mitchell (Cara), Laura Mitchell Evans (Ralph); and great grandchildren, Ben Evans, Audrey Evans, Alyssa Evans, and Margaret Pippin Mitchell.
