Obituary For Ralph “Bud” Hubert Sapp

Ralph “Bud” Hubert Sapp, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025.

Ralph was born in Forsyth County, North Carolina, on December 21, 1945, to the late Henry Hubert Sapp and Evelyn Ann Clodfelter.

He worked most of his life as a carpenter. He loved Dale Earnhardt, all of NASCAR, and loved fishing.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Joshua Bocanegra; four sisters, Joann Collins, Gaynell Sapp, Vickie Riddle, Donna Hester; and a nephew, Dean Riddle.

Survivors include his two daughters, Tiffany Sapp, Shawna Ivey; a son, Joseph Bocanegra and his mother, Elizabeth Wilson; seven grandchildren, Kali Ivey, Keegan Ivey, Jacob Johnson, Joseph Johnson, Jonathan Johnson, Abby Horton, and Dakota Cohron; three special nieces, Sherry Parks, Wendy Sutphin, and Christy Hester.

No services are scheduled at this time.
