Obituary For Ralph Edward Jackson

Ralph Edward "Butch" Jackson, 81, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Trellis Supportive Care in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

"Butch" was born on October 21, 1944 in Davidson County, North Carolina to the late Jay Vann Jackson and Mary Ethel Mayhew Jackson.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Roberts; his brother, Roger Jackson; and a half sister, Shirley Shaw.

"Butch" was an animal lover and loved to frequent the local restaurants. He loved talking to people and never met a stranger. Anyone who knew him knew that he loved to tell jokes.

He is survived by his sister, Teri Taylor (Randall); several nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Trellis Hospice, Janice Blevins and Diane Everhart.

No services are scheduled at this time.
