Obituary For Robert Don Biesecker III
It is with devastated hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Don Biesecker III. He passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026.
Born on November 20, 1994, the life Robert lived during his short time here with us was full and wonderful. He was fiercely loyal to his family and friends, and his spirit was embodied with warmth, humor, and love for those that were lucky enough to have been known and loved by him.
He was an avid golfer and fisherman, and he proudly worked for SKYE Heavy Equipment and Rentals. He was also a gifted athlete, and from the time he was a young boy he immersed himself in the love of each sport he played. Robert graduated from Central Davidson High School, then received his degree in Business Administration from UNCG.
Robert loved High Rock Lake. When he was a little boy, he spent his days in his Jon boat, catching baby turtles in the cove. In high school, he rode a wakeboard behind a boat that was filled to the brim with friends that loved him. As an adult, he loved to fish and golf – both with friends and in peaceful solitude. He also cherished the simple joy of sitting on his deck, taking in the serene view of the lake before him. We invite you to remember Robert every time you look at the lake, and to feel his presence in every beautiful sunrise or sunset, especially if you are lucky enough to witness his favorite type of sunset – one stretching across High Rock Lake.
He is survived by his parents, Bob and Jackie; His sister, Hannah Beasley (Chris); His brother, Will (Erin); His niece and nephews, Eliza, George, and Henry Beasley; His grandmothers, Margaret Biesecker of Lexington and Dee Anne Fortescue of Advance; and an entire loving family who will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his two grandfathers, Don Biesecker and Bill Fortescue.
Robert’s favorite bible verse was Isaiah 40:31 –
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Our world is shattered, but Heaven is rejoicing. Robert’s life will be remembered in a quiet family ceremony.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Larry Rose Memorial Golf Tournament with checks being made to Macedonia UMC (PO Box 190, Southmont, NC 27351), Robert Biesecker in memo.
