Obituary For Ronnie Dale Roseberry
Ronnie Dale Roseberry, 78, of Lexington, NC, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 3rd, 2025, at Hinkle Hospice House of Davidson County, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on June 14, 1947, in Pulaski, Virginia, Ronnie was a quiet yet unwavering presence—a man whose strength was shown through his actions and whose love ran deep.
Ronnie spent the better half of 50 years as a concrete finisher and 25-30 years as a diesel mechanic with Billings Freight Systems. He took pride in a job well done and was known for his work ethic, reliability, and selfless character. But above all else, Ronnie was a family man. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who gave himself endlessly to ensure the comfort and well-being of those he loved.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Judy Roseberry. Together, they built a life rich in love, laughter, and deep-rooted family values. He also reunites in peace with his son, Brian Roseberry; daughter, Tracey Tussey Roseberry; mother and father, Honey and Jessie Roseberry; grandson, Mikey Link; brother, Roy Roseberry; and sisters, Janice Little and Lisa Helton.
Ronnie’s legacy lives on through his children, Bryce Roseberry (Connie) and Tonya Warren (Mike); his treasured grandchildren: Danielle Tussey, Jessica Roseberry (Chris), Tori Dunn (Jake), Makaila Martin (Darel Jr.), Katelyn Roseberry, Noah Roseberry, Chase Link (Tommie), and Andrea Tilly; and his 13 great-grandbabies who were the light of his later years. He is also survived by his loving siblings: Shirley Gregg, Dennis Roseberry, Linda Stewart, Donna Everhart, Cammy Jarvis, and Mike Roseberry
To those who knew him, Ronnie was a pillar of quiet strength—a man who didn’t ask for much but gave everything he had. He was self-sacrificing, endlessly giving, and carried a quiet dignity that left a lasting impression. He lived simply, loved deeply, and gave wholeheartedly.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 12:30 pm at Denton Wesleyan Church with Pastor Charlie Collins officiating. The family will receive friends from 12-12:30 pm Wednesday, prior to the service at the church. The family will gather at 2:00 pm at Lexington City Cemetery for the committal service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hinkle Hospice House of Davidson County in gratitude for their compassionate care, or to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
Rest easy, Ronnie. Your work here is done—but your legacy lives on in every life you touched.
