Obituary For Roy Bradley Branch

Roy Bradley Branch “Doc”, 76, born April 30, 1949 to Edith Howard Branch in Advance, North Carolina.

He entered into his new eternal home on Friday, April 17, 2026.

Mr. Branch was preceded in death by a sister, Frankie Epperson.

Mr. Branch was a life member of the VFW Post 3074, American Legion Post 8, Amvets Post 13, National Assn. of Medics-Corpsmen, and 9th Infantry Division Assn.

Mr. Branch served 6 years in the US Army of which 3 tours were in Vietnam as a Combat Medic. He was also a personnel and cargo manifest clerk.

Mr. Branch was in the first class of EMT’s for Davidson County, a published author of poetry and well known gospel singer, and a veterans advocate and volunteer at the Salisbury VA for 12 years.

Services will be held at Affordable Funerals and Cremations of Davidson County on, Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 12:00pm.

Services will be conducted by Pastors Maston Love and Herman Powell. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Salisbury National Cemetery, in Salisbury, North Carolina with full military honors.

In lieu of flowers please donate to Fisher House, Ft Bragg or your local veteran’s organization.

    Frances Pritchard Was so glad to get to meet him at Chruch and loves to hear him sing he was a blessing to know and had a beautiful voice didn't know him long was so glad got to know him for a little bit rip and sing with them angels praying for you and your family
