Obituary For Ruby Mae Story Tune

Ruby Mae Story Tune, 79, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026, at her home with her family by her side.

Ruby was born on March 2, 1947 in Jackson County, Arkansas, to the late John Robert Story and Nedra Juanita McGuire Story.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Tune and a brother, Robert M. Story.

Survivors include her husband, William R. Tune; son, William Ray Tune (Kathie); daughter, Athena Tetter; seven brothers, Jerry, Odis, Floyd, Danny, Charlie, Henry, and Marvin; sister, Mary Ward; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
