Obituary For Stan Lee Shelton
Stan Lee Shelton
March 8, 1983 – July 9, 2026
Stan Lee Shelton, 43, passed away unexpectedly on July 9, 2026, at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Born on March 8, 1983, in Winter Springs, Florida, Stan was the son of the late Jesse and Deanna Shelton.
Stan was quiet, artistic, adventurous, and free-spirited. He had a creative soul and enjoyed drawing, painting, and writing, using his creativity to express himself and the unique way he saw the world.
Stan had a deep love for nature and the outdoors. He enjoyed hiking, walking through the woods, exploring new places, watching sunsets, and standing by the ocean watching the waves. He found peace in the beauty and freedom of the outdoors and was happiest when he could experience the world around him at his own pace.
Family held a special place in Stan’s heart. To his nieces and nephews, he was proudly known as the “fun uncle.” Whether playing a competitive game of volleyball or sitting down to draw and color with them, Stan was always ready to spend time with the kids. He was happiest when he was playing with them, laughing with them, and simply enjoying being together. The memories they made with their Uncle Stan will be treasured for years to come.
Stan was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Deanna Shelton, and Heather Hess, the love of his life, whose memory remained close to his heart.
He is survived by his siblings and their families: his sister, Teresa Isenhart Haynes and husband, Brian, and their children, Tanner Isenhart, Sadie Haynes, and Carly Haynes; his brother, Roy Isenhart and wife, Susie, and their children, Curtis Isenhart and wife, Lindsay, and their children, Hunter and Ella, Shawn Isenhart and wife, Miranda, and their children, Jesse, Emyleigh, and Averie, AJ Isenhart, and Grace Isenhart; his sister, Brandy Mills and husband, Jeremy, and her son, Travis Long and wife, Sarah; and his brother, Dan Shelton and wife, Jodi, and their children, Zoey Shelton and Luke Shelton.
Though Stan’s life ended far too soon, he leaves behind memories of his creativity, adventurous spirit, quiet nature, and the special bond he shared with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Stan will be laid to rest at the Baisden Family Cemetery in Wayne, West Virginia, where he will rest beside his beloved father and mother, Jesse and Deanna Shelton.
