Obituary For Steven Robert Espel

Steven Espel was born in West Virginia and grew up in Ridgewood, New Jersey. He passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Steven was preceded in death by his father, Robert F. Espel; his mother, Rita Lowry Espel; and his brothers, Martin (Diane) and David Espel.

He is survived by his three children, Kristopher L. Espel, Raven A. Jablanski (Jared), and Steven R. Espel. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law, Diane Espel; his nephew and niece, Daniel Espel and Shannon Espel; along with his four amazing grandchildren: Alexandra R. Espel, Jayden R. Jablanski, JayCee R. Jablanski, and Jaelynn R. Jablanski. Steven is also survived by his loyal 16-year-old dog, Tess, as well as many loving friends.

Steven was a man of many talents with a heart of gold. He had a deep love for antique cars and motorcycles, and he cherished the time he spent with his family above all else. Known for his contagious smile and generous spirit, Steven had a unique ability to make anyone laugh—even during the hardest times. He also had a playful side and loved scary films, often enjoying the thrill of scaring those around him. His sense of humor and countless funny sayings will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Steven will be deeply missed, but his laughter, love, and light will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

In lieu of flowers, please be kind to one another.
