Obituary For Vickie Diane Woodring

Vickie Diane Spake Woodring, 73, of Lexington, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at her home.

Vickie was born on October 20, 1952 in Davidson County, North Carolina to the late Junior Spake and Della Goins Spake.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Kenneth Woodring; sons, Allen Gobble and Scott Gobble; daughter, Dawn Woodring; six grandchildren, Melissa and her husband Stuart, Katie, Nicole, Jayden, Jodi and Allison; and six great-grandchildren, Melayna, Kyli, Natalie, Parker, Jameson, and Brody; and her little dog “Snow”, and a host of neighbors and friends who loved her dearly, and Kelly Gobble and Brad Glasscoe, who were very special to her.

She retired from Thomasville Furniture after 32 years of service.

She loved her family very much. She always enjoyed cooking for them and spending time with them. Her favorite holiday was Christmas where she enjoyed buying gifts for everyone. She was loved by all and everyone who was blessed to know her, will miss her beautiful smile and big heart.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 11:00am at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 from 10:00am - 10:45am at Affordable Funerals and Cremations Chapel prior to the graveside service.
