Obituary For William Roscoe Craver Jr.

William Roscoe Craver Jr., 91, of Thomaville, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2026, at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington, North Carolina.

William was born on November 1, 1934, to the late William Roscoe Craver Sr. and Gertrude Shuler Craver.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, William Craver and Mark Craver; and two sisters, Greta Cline and Peggy Steed.

Survivors include his wife, Josephine Craver; two step sons, Timothy Blackmon (Lorie) and James "Jimmy" Blackmon (Kimberly); two step daughters, Pamela Fowler and Debra Humphreys; nine step grandchildren; and ten step great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will take place at Affordable Funerals and Cremations Chapel on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 2:00pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.
