Aricia Maria Kennedy

9/14/1986 - 3/16/2026

Aricia Maria Kennedy, 39, our earthly ray of sunshine, was called home by our precious Lord on March 16, 2026.

Aricia was deeply loved by so many. She is survived by her devoted mother and father, two cherished brothers, two amazing lifelong best friends, her loving Pawpaw, and her two sweet puppies. So many loved family and friends too numerous to individually list but no less important.

Aricia was a bright and beautiful light whose warmth shone through her radiant smile. She had a selfless spirit, often placing others before herself, and a true passion for cosmetology. She found joy and fulfillment in helping others feel beautiful and confident, and in bringing happiness to those around her. Though the world may feel a little more dim without her, we take comfort in knowing that heaven has become much brighter.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center, especially those on the 8th and 9th floors. We also offer a special thank you to the remarkable staff of Hospice of Davidson County. Aricia was so happy to be there and found peace and comfort in their care. There are no words to fully express our appreciation for the kindness and support shown to her and our family.

We also want to express a great appreciation for all the prayers, support, and donations from individuals known and unknown. We pray God blesses each and everyone that shared unselfishly from their heart.

A celebration of Aricia’s life will be held at a later date.

My beautiful angel 😇, you were given to me to save my life. I dedicated you back to the Lord when you were a baby. I was so, so blessed by the gift of You. I know without any doubt, God’s plan is always the best🙏. However, that knowledge doesn’t make me miss you any less.😪 I know you will be waiting for me when it’s my time. We will eternally live and rejoice together in the sublime! Praise the Lord!

Over the years from high school we talked about life and how people were in this world. I can honestly say as my best friend in high school you kept me smiling and your voice touched my soul when you sang it sounded like heaven. I remember us talking about American Idol and you being so nervous but you would have blown the roof off that place with the soul you put in songs. I Love you for who you are and were. I still have the poem in my son’s baby box you wrote him before he was born. I cherish it to have your words and spirit on paper. Love always Aricia Keys I would call you 🫶🏽…Until we meet again. Rest in Heaven.
