John Robert Cooley Jr., 61, of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at his home.
John was born on June 2, 1964, in Beaufort County, South Carolina.
He was of the Baptist Faith and formerly attended Princeton Baptist Church in Honea Path, South Carolina. He was an Independent Contractor who enjoyed building houses and decks. His love for travel took him to many places around the world.
John was preceded in death by his parents, John Robert Cooley Sr. and Barbara Babb Cooley.
Survivors include his wife, Marsha Cooley; two sons, Julius Cody Cooley, Zachary James Cooley (Stephanie); one sister, Barbie Cooley Brooks (Scott); and his biological mother, Carol L. Waters.
A Celebration of Life for the family will be held at a later date.
